One of the ways we are supporting council estate churches is through the Pastors Network. Planting and pastoring on council estates and in underserved communities brings unique challenges. The Medhurst Pastors Network supports pastors and church planters both online and in person.
We meet collectively nine times a year, allowing pastors and church planters to connect and learn from those ministering in similar contexts. For information on joining please contact Jude Bronn via: jude@medhurstministries.org
Medhurst Women is more than just training, it is a holistic program that combines theological education with practical coaching. Once enrolled the student joins a vibrant learning community and can access the Medhurst retreats, and online and in-person training.
Medhurst Women aims to prepare and sustain women serving in contexts often lacking traditional seminary support or peer networks. For information on joining please contact Jude Bronn via: jude@medhurstministries.org
As much as council estate pastors, gospel workers, and their families love their communities, the challenges of ministry in hard places can be spiritually, emotionally, and physically exhausting. That is why Medhurst Ministries runs an annual family retreat. The retreat is held at the Jonas Center and allows those ministering in hard places to spend time out of their communities, have fun, relax, and fellowship with others who live and minister in similar contexts.
