about the church
The Trinity Church is a member of the FIEC and the Acts 29 network. The church is pastored by a team of four pastors, Nathan Joseph, Danny Burgess, Adam Rochford, and James Coetzee Suddaby. All of the pastors have grown up in theGreater Manchester area.
The church meets on Offerton Estate, which is a council estate in the south east of Stockport town centre. The church has a heart to reach people with the gospel on Offerton Estate and show them the love of Christ. The Trinity Church also has avision to plant a church in South Manchester to reach people groups who are often overlooked and unreached
about the Area
Stockport is town in Greater Manchester in the North West of England and has a population of approximately 294,000 people.
Like many towns in England it has affluent areas and deprived areas. There are several council estates across the borough, including Offerton estate where The Trinity Church meets.
Offerton estate is predominately white working class with some ethnic minorities. The estate was built in the 1960s and is lacking in amenities for the community. Aside from housing it only has one shop, a small community centre, and no GP surgery or dentist surgery. But what the estate really needs is for people to receive the good news of Jesus Christ and be saved and we desire to see that happen on the estate and beyond.
